Friends of Mr Gerald Steelman, of Hawera, will regret to hear of the death of his father in Auckland last iiicrht He was well known on this coast, having been manager for a. considerable time of the Bank of New South Wales main years ago. He had retired from the bank’s service some years since and had settled m Auckland. Ho leaves a widow and two other sons, Lance (Auckland) and Ralph (Nelson). Mr Gerald Stedman left for the north this morning.
