ANNUAL AIEETINGS IN SOUTH TARANAKI. BEGIN THIS WEEK. While there have been several annual meetings of dairy companies already held, in North Taranaki, tlie first for South Taranaki will take place this week. The first will be on Thursday, when the Ararata Company will hold its meeting. Then fqllow Abells on Friday, Aleremere on Saturday, and Norlnanby on Alonday. The annual report of the Aleremere Company states: There were considerable fluctuations in prices realised for our produce during the season, but the average results must be considered satisfactory. Despite the decrease in supply due to the dry spell in the autumn, it has been possible to keep our working expenses down to' a reasonable figure. After making provision for depreciation on the factory buildings and plant, the pay-out over the season lias been Is 71 d per lb butterfat. The retiring directors are Alessrs. P. Sheahan and G.
