CYCLE ROAD RACING.
SENIOR AND JUNIOR EVENTS. The senior -and junior cyclic road races, -run under the auspices of the Knpomga C'yc’lo Club, were held to-day, the senior race -being over the Palmer Boa'll, A urea, bloc k, a distance of 29 miles, arid tihe junior race was competed on the Du tide Road course, a distance of 16 miles. The following arc the results:— SENIOR RACE; 29 Miles. E. Stockman (oj-min,) 1 E. Area. (27 r min..) 2 11. Blackwell (ojnviu.) 3 Winner 'is time, 1 hour 18 minutes l 21 seeondts.
E. Aroa gained- fastest timeiby doing the d Lota race -im 1 hour 17 minutes 23 seconds. Nine started. JUNIOR RACE; 26 Miles. N. And am (3ani-n.) 1 G. Wilii-lamis (3ndn.) 2 L. Sehieker (ondin.) 3 N. Adlam, Hue winner, gained fastest ■time with 39 minutes 25 seconds.
