At a meeting of the central executive of the Taranaki Primary Schools’ Rugby Union, held at Stratford on Saturday, it was decided that the senior grade play-off between the north champions, Waitara, and the south champions, Stratford, should take place not later than August 11 at Inglewood. Final arrangements were left to the headmasters of the schools concerned^ The final for the McLeod Shield junior match was set down for August 11. The Bayly Scholarship sports, it was decided, would be held at Bltham on September 13. Messrs Train and Henderson were appointed to l take the schools’ representative team to Hamilton.
