AUSTRALIANS WIN IN MATCH WITH BELGIANS.

Received 2 p.m. to-day. LONDON, July 26. At Le Zaute, in the concluding day against the Belgians, Cummings defeated Toassaint, and Crawford defeated Washer. Cummings and Meon defeated Yanderbemden and Ewbank, the Australians thereby winning all the. remaining rubbers.

Strong criticism of methods of selecting the Dominion Davis Cun team was uttered at a meeting of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis last night and a motion was carried recommending that in future the matter of representation should not be left in the hands of the management committee l of the New Zealand Association, but should be decided by the association as whole, the affiliated bodies being given an opportunity of expressing their opinions.
