AERIAL WORK IN AFRICA

(Australian Press Association— United Service.) Received 1.30 p.m. to-day. LONDON, July 26. Sir Alan Cobham has flown 85,000 miles on special Empire trips since 1921. His recent survey convinced him that the whole of the African continent can be covered by aeroplanes with one hundred per cent, regularity. He prophesied that within a year it would be possible to write a letter to Central Africa from London and receive a. reply within three weeks.
