LADIES’ HOCKEY.
TARANAKI association.. PROPOSE D REP R E'SENTATIVE TOUR. A meeting of delegates to the Taranaki L'adies ’ Hockey Association was held at Stratford on Wednesday, when ir was decided not to send a te'am to the Dominion tourney being held this year in 'the South Island, but to endeavour to send a representative team on tohr as far as Hawke’s Day, playing one or more games there and meeting teams at Dannevirke, Palmerston North, Fielding and Wanganui. An itinerary i s to be arranged after communication with the various centres and it is expected the tour will bo made at the end of August. • Selectors were appointed as follow: Messrs Nodder (south), Johnson (central), and Crleeson (north). DIVISIONAL FINALS. Pending the completion of the respective division competitions, the finals were drawn as follows: — August. 11—North v. (Central, at Inglewood. August —ls Central v. South, at Ila.wera. 0 August 18—South v. North, at (Stratford.
