UNWORTHY BARRIERS.
FARMERS UNION REM IT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 26. The Farmers’ Union conference passed a remit that Barriers to free intercourse between this country and Great Britain are unworthy of our professions of loyalty to the imperial ideal, and are not only unnecessary, but subservient to the best interests of the Dominion.
