SEVERE WEATHER IN SYDNEY. FLOOD WARNINGS ISSUED ON NORTH COAST. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) .SYDNEY, July 25. The city and suburbs have been drenched by a torrential downpour all day, transforming the streets info rushing streams. A cold, southerly wind lashed the rain squalls, which early in the afternoon made foot passage in the streets almost impossible. The wind at one time was like a cyclone, with sufficient force to overturn a motor ear. Over tw’o inches of rain foil between 0 o’clock in the morning and 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Snow has fallen in many parts of the highlands. Flood warnings have been Issued for the north coast districts.
