SIMPLE FUNERAL' SERVICE. (Australian Press Association—United Service.) LONDON, July 24. In compliance with' Dame Ellen Terry’s wish, ’-her funeral service- at the little parish church at Smallhythe was without pomp and of- the most simple nature. Everyone wore workaday clothes, and the coffin- was covered with a golden nail fashioned by Ellen Terry’s daughter, Mrs. Edith Craig, from her mother’s stage gown. Similarly at t’he requiem service at All Saints'.the West- End womenfolk wore the brightest of summer frocks.*
