COUNCIL. INCREASES SUSPENSION (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 24. Tlhe Otago Association reported at to-night’s meeting of the New Zealand Association Football Council that it bad suspended P. Hall, of the. Mosigiel Club, for three Saturdays, for threatening a referee, during the progress of a. game and for striking; hum' after the game. ~ The reports of the ease, were ream, and: it was decided to telegraph Otago that the council took a serious view of this offence and had decided to inerea.se the suspension to the end of the s e a son.
