NEW PLYMOUTH DEFEAT HAWERA.
At the Hawern. Miniature Rifle Club’s range last evening the home and home, match with the miniature branch of the New Plymouth Defence Rifle Club was completed, the tallies showing a; margin of 62 in favour of the New Plymouth club. Details of the New Plymouth scores registered previously and supplied by the northern club were as follow: Misses Kretsclimar 99, Hasell 98, Ramson 97, Harvey 95. Pope 95, Corner 91. Philoott- 91. Bell 89—Indies’ total 755: Messrs.* S. 'Higgs 97. H. McGahev 96, W. Short- 96, J. Turnbull 96. G. Tayler 96, J. Ramson 93, F. Hogg 93, C. Goodin 87 —men’s total 754 ; grand total 1509. Details of the J-Tawera Club shoot last night were: (Misses- J. R'ae 96, E. Rae 94, T, Ingram 93, K. Petersen 89. G-. San cl ford. 78, Mesd nines F. Rae 96. G. Harding 93. S. Veitch 89 —ladies’ total 728; Messrs. L. Uttinger 98, C. M'ckelsen 96. A'. Elgar 93, C. Arnold 92. E. Booth 92. L. Rush 84, G. Hording 83. B. Watts 81 —men’s total 719; grand total 1447.
