LONDON WOOL SALES.
PRICES VERY FIRM. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) Received 11.5 a.m. to-day. LONDON, July 17. At the wool sales, 7871 bales were offered, of which 2686 were Australian and. 4227 New Zealand. There was a moderate selection of meTinos, chiefly choice spinners’ styles, a large offering of slipes, and a good supply of greasy crossbreds. All centres were operating freely, and there was a good tone and prices were very firm. New Zealand clips sold were: Omarinui, 22d and 21 d ; Mt. White, 24Jd and 22d; W.F.M.., 32»d.
