CHEESE POSITION VERY PROMISING. The market cable received by Mr. G. H. Buckeridge from Messrs. H. A. Lane' and Co., Ltd. (London) cmnhasises the strength of the position of New Zealand cheese, which promises well for the opening, of the coining season. The cable deals with Canadian prices, showing that they are high-, but the most interesting fact is that oro- | duct-ion in Canada had fallen as compared with last season. The quotation given would he for new season’s make, said Mr. Buckeridge, and the shortage reported indicated a probable maintenance of the high price for the New Zealand article.
