In connection with the motor-car collision, reported in yesterday’s “Star,’ at the intersection of the Auroa and Main South Hoad, Mr. James Freyne advises that while the occupants of the car from New Plymouth escaped injury, Mr. A. Freyne senr. was .badly bruised. He was conveyed to his home by a passing motorist, where medical aid was summoned and he was removed to a private hospital, suffering irom severe shock and bruises. Mr. T. B. Freyne also received mediclal attention, having three stitches put in a wound over the left eye. (Mr D. Lewis, of Manana, i,s at present an inmate of .the Hawerai Public Hospital.
