The Czecho-Slovakians have eliminated Holland from the- Davis Cup tennis contest, winning the round by three matches to two. They Will meet the Italians in the final of the European zone. Eimmer (Holland) beat Ivozelun (Ozecho-Slovakia), 6 —2, 2—6, 6—2, 6 —4 ; Macenaner (Czeoho-Silovakia) beat Van Linnep, 6—2, 6 —2, 6 —2. INTERNATIONAL CONTEST. WON BY AMERICA. LONDON, June 23. America won the three days’ international tournament at Eastbourne by three events to two, the deciding factor being the defeat by Lott (America) of Sharpe (England). 6 —3. 5 —7, 6 —2, 6—3.
