There was a, dramatic climax to a series of spiritualist services, at Nantes, which, it is stated, attracted attention from as far as Australia, America, and Japan. A journalist, seizing the supposed spirit of a girt whom her mother was a.oouit to embrace, found it to be the substantial body of the famous medium Ifalise, who in the meantime was supposed to .'be in a cabinet in a trance. The journalist declares that he saw Ralise’s braces underneath a transparent robe before flashing on q.n electric torch.
A violent scene .followed, twenty persons attacking the journalist, who escaped with bruises and torn clothes.
