Rennie, who was disqualified for 12 months by the judicial committee of the' Rotorua Racing Club for corrupt practices, has appealed to the Auckland District Committee. HAWEiRA TRACK NOTES. (By “Limited.”) In consequence (of the heavy rains all fast work wa,s confined to the sand track this morning. 1 E. Aiurtagh was first to work and gave Buster Clut useful threequarter pace work. Denier is shaping up nicely and works more tractably since his let .up. . Calamine ,in tlio same stable, is doing useful pace work and the three horses mentioned should be very handy for early spring racing. •Silvennine and Bonogne—both intended for Wellington—were companions in >a gallop over five furlongs. They ran fast down the lbaok to the three furlong's together in, 36 3-5, slowing up the last two—the five furlongs taking 1.5), with Silvennine showing to advantage. Bisox and Royal Mint went together over seven furlongs—the writer clocking them from the six furiong post — Bisox in front at the finishing post, taking 1.24 for the six.
