The fifteenth annual conference of the executive council of the New' Zealand Public Service Association was opened to-day by tbe Hon. R. A. Wright. He extended to the delegates a very cordial welcome to Wellington. He said that he gathered that the association was a peace-lov-ing body, and said that it was a. pleasure to he among them. In welcoming Mr. Wright previously the president (Mr. McKay) expressed the hope that the good relations between tbe service and tbe Government w’ould long continue.
