GUNBOAT BLOWN UP
A COLOMBIAN DISASTER. FIFTY PEOPLE MISSING. BELIEVED TO HAVE PERISHED. (Australian I’ress Association —United Service.) Received 11.30 a.m. to-ua.v. BOGOTA (Colombia), June 18. Reports from Barret Quilla state that fifty-one persons are mussing anti are believed to have perished in an explosion which destroyed the Colombian gunboat Hercules at midnight on Saturday, on Magdalena River. The majority of the victims were drowned and their .bodies were devoured by alligators. Of 73 people who were alvoard 22 were rescued
