In the course of a review of the dairy pi educe markets for the past four weeks. A. H. Turnbull and Co. remark :

The statistical position for butter at the present time could hardly be stronger, stocks of New Zealand in London being very low, and amounting to only 4156 tons, whilst in Nirw Zealand some 4881 tone are stored, as against 8700 last year. Forward buyers continue to absorb any offerings at from. Is 4id .for first grade to Is 5d for finest. Cheese. —The market throughout the month has continued to improve with latest f|notations at 100 s. Prospects for the balance of season seem particularly bright and with the decreased stocks in New Zealand, as. compared with last year, prices should further improve. Forward havers are .showing renewed interest and sales hare taken place for small parcels of end of season’s make at ftjd to 0-jd per lb.
