The rpiek of coursing dogs from all parts of the Island are expected 'to appear at Whenuakura on Tuesday and Wednesday when the Patea-Hawei J a Coursing Club meeting will be held. The programme will include the open stake and the 'Black and White 'Cup contest, the latter being for any number of dogs which have not secured •more than £5 in stakes. Already nominations have come forward freely and ’will close with the acting secretary (Mr. F. Spooner) at (V o'clock this evening. The first event is timed for 12.30 and at intervals from noon cars will leave the triangle, Pa'tea, for the i course.
