POOL TO BE FORMED AT MANAIA.
The meeting held at Manaia on Saturday “was addressed by Mi'. Edwin Burke, who sketched the principal points in the Patou scheme and strongly urged the farmers to support it. As as result it was resolved to form a pool or to join with adjoining districts if thought advisable. The tolba-1 of calves promised numbers 1290 and it is rairly certain that this number will be increased later.
