INDIA AGREES TO AMERICAN PROPOSALS. (British Olficiul Wireless.) IU'G.RY. June Id. Sir Austen Chamberlain inis addressed to Air Ray Atherton, United States Charge d ! Affaires in London, a Note conveying the warm thanks of the Government of India for the invitation of the United States- Government to participate individually and as an original signatory of the treaty for the renunciation, of war. The Indian Government is happy to accept the invitation and associate itself with the Note recently addressed by the British Government to the United States Government-, agreeing in pri nc i-ple to the proposals of the Unit cd States.
