NEW PLYMOUTH WINTER SHOW

THE SECOND DAY. FURTHER, PRIZE) AWARD'S Wednesday, afternoon and evening, was a busy time at the Winter Show, in New Plymouth, when the halls were crowded with a gay and interested assemblage of people from many parts of the district. The poultry show was the main item of" interest and an excellent display was seen in every section. The committee of the Poultry Club, under the presidency of Mr E. James, had made complete and perfect arrangements and everything went with the precision of clockwork. The judges Messrs E. James, W. Hall and A. O. Jolmstone, got through their work expeditiously. Three North Island Championships were allotted to the club, and they were annexed by W. J. McAloon, Stratford (utility White Leghorns), A. J. Dodunski, Egmoiit Village (utility Orpington), and H. McNeill (Game Bantam). The prize list is as follows: Judges: Fancy section (all ol&sses except American leghorns), Mr ES. James, New Plymouth: utility section (and American leghorns), Mr W.
