GROUP HERD TESTING.
SOUTH TARANAKI ASSOCIATION. MEMBERS INCREASING. Discussion of the group herd testing system, was favouraby received at a meeting of farmers of the Tokaora district last evening, when Mr H. \'. ll. s presided and explanation of the scheme was given by 'the organising .secretary of the South Taranaki Association. . At a. meeting held at Whenualeura on Monday evening, with 'Mr F. Parsons in the choir, it was resolyy?d to form a roup, and Messes F. Parsons and T. Hunlcv were appointed to canvass the district. , Similar meetings hire being held throughout the association’® area durum the week and indications are that a very strong association will be the •result! The result of blue work of the first season has done much, _ towards inrovmg that grown herd testing is indeed well' worth while.
