REV. MR. LAURIA RESIGNS. (AUSTRALIAN PRESS ASSOCIATIONUNITED SERVICE.) Received 11.5 a.m. to-day. LONDON, May 22. Bishop Blackburn has accepted the 1 resignation of the Rev. Mr. Lamia, vicar of St. Outhbert’s, which has been the centre of much religious controversy. Mr. Lauria declares that he did not use unlawful rites or ceremonies and that he taught nothing unlawful.
