SPORTS MEETING. .
ME RE ME RE -O H AN GAI. NEXT WEDNESDAY’S ATTRACTION There will be an interesting gathering at Ohangai on Wednesday next when the Meremere-Ohangai Sports Club will hold its second annual meeting on Mr J. Anderson’s property Including athletic and horse leaping events, as well as sawing and chopping, it appeals to a wide field of competitors, and it is certain there will be large fields' and keen contests. In addition to the sports events there will be a football match, when Ohangai will play City in the final match of the first round of mid-week Rugby competition. This will be a great attraction. An interesting trophy is the Gann Cup, to be awarded l for most points in the athletic events. The sports promise to be one of the best meetings of the district and should, attract large crowds of visitors.
