CANBERRA, May 18. The Rt. Hon. S. M. Bruce-, in the House of Representatives, replying to criticism on the amending Anbitra(t«u>n Bill, reviewed the industrial position in Australia. He said that tilings could not he allowed to go on exactly as they were going. Trade unions had become political in their aspirations, and some leaders who had found themselves, possessed of great power were using it in a manner not intended in the original ,« union objective. The Bill would trade union objective. -The Bill would position it deserved. Mr AY. M. Hughes 'secured the adjournment.
