OIL AT NEW PLYMOUTH.
ACTIVITY AT BLENHEIM BORE (BY TFT,F,GRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) NEW PLYMOUTH, May 18. Interest in petroleum operations lias been revived by renewed activities of the Blenheim bore at Moturoa. For some time operations have been directed towards plugging the bore at about 2000 feet, in order to test the strata at that depth. Lately oil has been flowing intermittently, yielding about four barrels daily. Since last night the flow became much stronger and is estimated at twelve barrels daily.
