ELECTION SUGGESTION. The presence of at least three parties at the forthcoming general elections is not looked upon with favour in certain political circles. One suggestion which has been proposed, apparently, in all seriousness, is that all candidates for Parliamentary honours belonging to one of the parties should distribute at every meeting packets of Bears’ ‘Tobacco, so as to ensure that there would always be crowd, ed attendances!
