TOKAORA HALL.

VARIOUS IMPROVED 1 ENTS. During an interval at the dance on Wednesday evening at the Tokaora Hall the chairman, Mr. S. Thrush, drew attention of those present io some material improvements since their last gathering. Messrs. Barr Bros, had generously donated sufficient piping with necessary tools, and • a working bee was formed on Monday last when water was laid on to the kitchen and the ladies’ and men’s rooms. In front of the hall a power-' fill light had been, installed to the order of Mr. John Finlay. This light will prove a boon to, visiting patrons. Mr. Finlay also donated a well-handled sharp axe, which was badly needed to' chop wood. At hearty vole of thanks was accorded the donors.
