There is every in. dicstion that money rates in London will ease markedly next year, but Ncav Zealand clearly argues that Avhile she will keep the bulk of the redemption till a later date, it Avill be Avise to dispose of a portion of it under the present fairly favourable conditions. This action may seem unduly cautious, but it is done Avith deliberation.
It will be interesting to see if the era of 4& per cent, trustee securities has been regained. If the loan is a real success there. Avill be feAV more five per cent, issues.
