At the annual meeting of the council of. the New Zealand Hockey Association, a credit balance of £43 was shown, with an accumulated fund at £379. Mr. H. S. J. Goodman - was elected president, and Messrs R. Graeil, S. Holland, C. Bellanv, H. t Throp, A. J. Preston and I. Gunn to - its management committee. A motion to liawe a tourney for the Interprovincial Shield instead" of challenge matches was lost. The council decided to recommend the incoming executive to bring an overseas team to New Zealand next year. ■. \ '■ ■
