ENGINEERS’ STRJKE. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN PRESS ASSOCIATION.) SYDNEY, April 24. A strike of engineers at Lysaglit Brothers’ wire-netting works, Abbottsford, has occurred. The strikers complain that the company has offered men staff positions without extra pay, tendering it necessary for the men to resign front the union, which course was designed to* break their union. Twenty-three are involved in the trouble, which is likely to extend.
