LONIION, M'aimh 25. la addition to thi air speed record, the Air Ministry is officially attempting a long distance non-stop fflight ana duration records, tor ■'which ta special Napier-engined machine is being completed. it is expected that the -aeroplane will ha able to remain in the air for over 60 hours, and be capable of a. 5000 miles non-stop flight. The ‘‘Daily Express” says that Flight-Lie ut. G. E. YVorsfey will be the pilot in the speed attempt six weeks’ hence and adds: “The new machine will be flown in the next Schneider Gu>p race. It is further stream-lined and, capable of six miles per minute.
