Admiral Royd, speaking at the Eastern Counties' Rugby Union dinner, said that a strong feeling existed in the committee that the unions themselves should take up the question of the New Zealand tour; indeed, the question was at present’ being seriously considered. Admiral Rovd hoped that in the event of a- favourable decision, the counties and clubs would make a special effort to sep that the Mother Country is worthily'-represented in the'great game.
