Tire merchandise marks standing committee, as the result of an inquiry, recommends the gazetting of an order-in-oouncil prohibiting the importation and sale wholesale of fresh apples unless each container indicates the country of origin. It also considers that there should be a prohibition of the exposure of apples retail unless the origin is indicated by means of a showcard displayed in close proximtiv. —A.P.A. and “Sun.”
