A Press Association message from New Plymouth regarding the loss of the Cape Egmont dairy factory, which was destroyed by fire early this morning, indicated that some cheese in the concrete storeroom was saved, though if was possibly damaged. The boilerroom was also.' saved. The factory and its contents were insured for £11,300.
