810 CONTRACT MADE. CREDITS TO SOVIET. FOR DAIRYING DEVELOPMENT. BY CABLE —MESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received 11.30 a.m. to-day. LONDON, March 18. The Union Cold Storage Company has contracted for th. 3 marketing of all Russian dairy produce in Britain. Sir Edmund Vestey states that the company has traded with Russia satisfactorily for some time, and is now extending to the Soviet credit for £500,000, as well as 70 per cent, of the value of the dairy products as soon as they are shipped. The Soviet will utilise the credits in dairying developments in Siberia and the Urals.
