The. eighth annual meeting of tho Kuponga Athletiiq Sports (Jlub was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall on Jmday. The chair was occupied by the president, Air. W. Man*, and thcie were .also present. Messrs C. Crowley, M. Corner ford, 0. Outbne, H. Williams J. Brisco, J. Ouy, J. A. Dawson, T. B. Alenson, Harley Henderson, H. W. Bocock, W. G. Oran, D. L\ F. Malone, 0. H. Brewer, W. H L. Roberts, and A. Alelville (secretary). Tho balance-sheet showed: Receipts (including a balance brought forward, £26 12s lid) £230 2s lid, the.principal of which were gates £37 10s (sports) and £lO2 18s 6d (tournament), nomination and acceptance fees £39 7s. Expenditure £197 lie 9d, the chief factors being prizes £B6 10s 6d, medals £l2 6s, printing and advertising £3/ 10s tent hire £8 10s. Balance to credit, £32 11s 2d. The tender of the Aietliodist Ladies’ Guild for the luncheon booth privileges at the tournament and sports meeting was accepted.
