On Saturday at the Park green, in a match for tho Buttons, the challengers (Parkes, Barnett, Villars, and McLaren) defeated the holders (Grant, sub., Cunningham, sub., Dillon and' Hnrrell) by 23 t o 19. On Wednesday-, Man a in. Club are sending in live rinks to play a friendly match with the Park Club. Park Club are sending four rinks to Stratford on Saturday, March 24, to try conclusions with the Stratford Club. HAWERA v. PATEA. On Saturday, Patea visited Hawera green, when a very- pleasant game was play-eel. The weather was favourable and the green good, although the wind made it somewhat tricky.
