The track was fair after the overnight’s rain. The totalisator handled £24,022 10s for the day, making £39,593 for the meeting, compared with £49,171' in 1926. Innovation Handicap, of ISO sovs; one and a half milse.—l Dundas Boy, 60yds bhd 1; 4 Daunt, scr 2; 2 My Sonny, 24yds bhd 3., Won by three lengths, with a length between second and third. Wenlo was fourth. Times, 3.33 3-5, 3.29 3-5, 3.37 3-5. Bexley Handicap, of 180 sovs; two miles.—Great Amazon, 36yds 1; 3 Little Johnnie. 48yds 2; 6 Randolph, 36 yds 3. Wonby a length, with a length between second and third. Tiny Moon was fourth. Times, 4.58 1-5, 4.57 2-5, 4.58 3-5. New Brighton Handicap, of 400 sovs; two miles. —2 Colene Pointer, 12yds 1; 1 King Pointer, 12yds 2; 3 Daphne De Oro, 24yds 3. Won easily by six length? with four lengths between second and third. Free Advice was by threelengths, with a length between second and third. At a subsequent meeting of the stewards, because Bryce had interfered with Baron Bingen the latter was placed first and Free Advice second. Bryce was fined £25. The owners of Free Ad-vice have appealed, but- the stewards decided to pay out the dividends on their placing.
