LICENSE PROPOSALS. PY fJABLB—PHBSP -OOPVRIOHI LONDON, March 14. In the House of Commons, Colonel John Buchan introduced a Dog Racing Bill requiring that each- new course should obtain a license from a local authority and that existing courses should obtain a similar license withiu six months. He said there were. .1.54 companies exploiting greyhound racing, and there was a danger of the tracks becoming gigantic open-air casinos. A horse race was an occasional event, hut dog racing was becoming almost daily. The Bill was read a first time.— A.P.A. and “Sun.”
