SEVENTY-TWO! BODIES RECOVERED. MINOR SLIDES CONTINUE. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received 10.45 a.rn. to-day. BUENOS AIRES, March 12. A message from Santos states that seventy-two bodies, including those of twenty-three children, have so far been recovered. Two thousand volunteers are working on the removal of an enormous quantity of dirt and rocks. Minor slides are continuing and are causing anxiety. An avalanche from Monte Serrat, an eminence 700 feet above the centre of the city of Santos, Brazil, on Saturday, buried a hospital, fourteen houses and some 200 people.
