The “Waipukurau Press’ communicated with 'Constable Moss, of Porangahau, who states that he saw a vessel at a standstill, or slowly drifting at four o’clock in the afternoon yesterday. It gave forth what appealed to be three .signal flashes about five times and then shortly before seven o’clock two blasts, turned round and proceeded quickly south again.
