BOWLING
HAW ERA v. STRATFORD. A fricndlv match between Hawera and Stratford was played at Stratford on Saturday. The weather was delightful and a very pleasant afternoon was spent. At the conclusion of the game Mr Leach, of the home club, expressed pleasure at having had a visit of the Hawera players. 'Mr S. Adamson replied on behalf -of the Hawera 'Club. Totals: Hawera 111, Stratford 02. SOUTH AUSTRALIANS AT WANGANUT. WANGANUI. March 11. The South Australian bowlers played a mat - !) against tire Wanganui Centre an Saturday, losing the aggregate by a narrow magin. To-day the visitors were taken a sight-seeing trip in the e'tv and vicinity, and to-morrow leave for Napier in continuation of their Dominion tour.
