ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A FATAL FALL. [by telegraph—press association.] AUCKLAND, Feb. 10. A well-known Auckland surveyor, Alan Kelly, was found dead at midnight on the city side of the Parnell railway tunnel. He appeared to have met his death iby a fall and was not run over by a train. WOMAN DIES OF INJURIES.
AUCKLAND, March 10,
The death occurred at Auckland Hospital last evening of Mrs Maria Oemeke of Napier, who received spinal injuries through, the capstan of a, lorry on Razorback Hill, between Pukehohe and Mercer on February 27. Her husband, who was driving, was uninjured.
MOTOR. LORRY CAPSIZED.
AUCKLAND, March 10
While returning to Rawene from a dance at Waiotemarama Hall, a lorry driven by Mr. McCallum capsized over a bank while making room for a car to pass. Mrs. Reuben and Miss Potu were badly crushed, and were brought to Rawene Hospital. Other passengers were sli gb Vfv in j u red.
