The team representing Taranaki selected for the South Auckland tour will leave Brougham Street corner, New Plymouth at seven o’clock on Sunday morning for Te Kuiti. SOUTH AUSTRALIA v. TARANAKI. WIN FOR LOCAL PLAYERS. The South Australian bowling representatives met Taranaki in a four-rink match on the Vogletown green yesterday, when the former were defeated by 110 points to- 73. The local bowlers had left no stone unturned for the entertainment of the visitors and a most enjoyable time was spent before, during ii I after the games. They left New Plymouth this morning for Wanganui to play another match. Details are as follows, South Australia being mentioned first: Davis, MeWattier, Harrison. Dunn II v. Hickey, Bruce, Johnson, Price L!(J; Allen, Temple, Rlamphrey, Casting. 19 v. Boon, Hindi, .Dingle, Lobb 2-8; Potter, Bower, Alexander, Naylor 19 v. Masters, McKay, Quin, A. K. Smart 29; Sellar, Cherry, Barton, Hugger 21 v. Hutchinson, Burgess, T. .Petty, Billing 33; totals, 73 amt 110. Two other rinks were played, hut the totals were not counted in the match, as some Taranaki players played with the South Australian rinks. The scores were as follow, the visitors mentioned first:Harris, Von Dousson, Short, Davies 18 v. Lea-ell, Jackson. H. Smart, Longbottom 41; Cully, Catt, OhristofFel, Penno 16 v. Harrison, Henderson, Wigley, Patterson 39; totals, 34 and 80.
