A LONG-STANDING GRUDGE. (BY TV.I,EGRAPB—PRESS- ASSOCIATION • CHRISTCHURCH. March 8. I.en William Lorgallv, aged 34, was to-day fined £3, in default, fourteen dav s’ imprisonment, on a charge of striking William Thom in High Street. The chief detective said that defendent gave no reason for the blow other than there had been a dispute on the battlefields of France. Lorgallv was apparently still carrying the grudge. 'The Magistrate told the defendant to he a man and get over it.
